Join visiting artist, Sarah Matthews, and design and carve stamps to create a collection of meditatively repetitive, multi-colored decorative papers. On the second day, you will collate and bind those papers into a one-of-a-kind accordion book. Learn new skills in printmaking and bookbinding while meeting other creative people and leave with a gorgeous patterned book that you made yourself.
This is an indoor/outdoor workshop for rising 7-12 grades. Tables will be socially distanced and set with individual kits for maximum safety. Class will be mostly outdoors, so dress according to weather. There will be the option to move inside if desired. Masks optional outside, required inside.
