What's an Insectival? It's an insect festival! Enjoy an engaging variety of educational and artsy insect-themed activities, crafts, demonstrations, challenges, performances, and fun photo ops. It's a family day of buggy art and nature at the garden! Plus, shop the market area for nature-themed gifts and stop by the food trucks for lunch!
This is a rain or shine event with spray stations to cool off - we've got plenty of INDOOR and outdoor activities planned for the Insectival! Visit the Arts Building to tour the Insect Zoo, and enjoy all the exhibits presented by our event partners. Inside the Studio School, explore our new Nocturnal Insect display. Enjoy other activities and displays set up along the protected Wooded Path, including a Butterfly Tent full of live butterflies! Plus spray stations to cool off. Join us for indoor and outdoor fun! - there will be spray stations to cool off;
- No smoking; no vaping;
- Service animals are always welcome at Annmarie;
- Pets and therapy animals are NOT allowed at this event; we follow the ADA guidelines regarding the definition of a service animal.
- There will be food vendors at the event; outside food/drink is not allowed (unless you have an allergy);
- There is no ATM on site;
- Alcohol is not permitted;
